Super Seventies Saturday #1 - Brandy (You're a Fine Girl) - by Looking Glass

...new weekly feature for y'all...

I'm a child of the 70's (well, born in the Summer of Love, and MAY have been (but most likely not) one of the little naked babies roaming around the grounds of Woodstock...) - so, I grew up with 70's music...which was the hippest, most happening, groovy and COOL era of popular music....EV-AHHHHHH!!!! (well, of course, I love ANYTHING Ginger utters, and big band stuff also, along with blues and metal...some country, and quite a bit of R&B - Soul stuff... which generally is all encompassed in 70's tunes!) ANYWAY, we kick things off with installment #1, the tune "Brandy (You're a Fine Girl)" by Looking Glass...one of the quintessential 'one-hit wonder' bands from the early 70's...
so, here ya go... sorry for the 'intro commercial', but...those typically precede the 'best version' of a given video:

...This tune has always been one of my faves, and I could probably do a pretty mean karaoke version of it... so be on the lookout for that...riiiiiight....  anyway, cool tune that has that definite 70's 'vibe'...

This will hopefully be a 'weekly' installment, if anything, to get a bit of 'structure' to this burgeoning blog... hope ya dig it...
